This book includes a description of the universe, the peoples and an atlas of the iconic places of Polskar. It contains the complete mechanics of System D, a Bazaar and a large bestiary! On the Player's side, you will have a large section to create your Company, your Hired Men (five peoples, three paths, ten careers) and your Vehicle. On the Narrator's side, there are three chapters for creating your Counter and Region, embodying Cryos and exploring the mysteries of Makina.

The base book also includes an Expedition that can be used as a prologue to a campaign.
